One Year
Valentines day was perfect! We went snowboarding all morning then came back to my house where there were flowers, cheese, fruit covered in chocolate, wine, and sushi! We ate dinner to a playlist of songs that each had a meaning from some point in our relationship over the past eleven months….
That’s right! Eleven months! Next month we reach one year. Today was a chance to look back on...
Nothing in my fridge but bits and leftover pieces
so how about makeshift pizza with the leftover homemade pitas? With a sauce made of leftover pumpkin, pasta sauce, and pesto, topped with kalamata olives and permesan cheese. Add some peppercinis and a greek salad on the side…not too bad.

In other news
I was promoted yesterday and also received a pay raise and some much appreciated positive feedback from my boss.
It was also just nice going out to lunch with him and Elisha and spending a few moments with them as real people rather than coworkers. It’s so much easier working for people you can go out and grab a bite or a drink with.
This will be the first year I really celebrate...
I’m taking Monday off to go snowboarding with Chris and we’re going to have a nice lunch.
We’re not doing gifts, but I’ll be making chocolate-covered strawberries and grapes and maybe some cupcakes. I will definitely pick up some flowers to decorate with.
Chris doesn’t know this but I’m also planning on finally buying him sweatpants for my house. I guess that...
